Site Visit:  Holcim’s Ballina (Teven) Quarry site tour 3.30PM -25Aug 16, hosted by Chris Hamilton from Holcim and a follow up to Garth Stacey’s, Quarry Manager, presentation last year in relation to the operation’s Industry Awards nomination relating to Safety, Innovation and Performance.

HMS Group have offered to demonstrate a remote controlled mini loader they have developed which is able to work in confined or restricted spaces. TBC according to sufficient numbers attending site visit

Guest Speaker:

The guest speaker is Craig ‘Shine’ Summerfield, currently National Customer Applications Manager – Construction Division, Komatsu Australia. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry and in conducting assessments involving site efficiency and time/motion studies, and advising customers on Optimum Fleet recommendations and associated application requirements.

Shine’s presentation discusses ‘The Pivotal Three in production loading efficiencies and optimisation’- how to minimise costs, achieve maximum machine production, fleet matching as well as what to look for in your fleet to identify areas for improvement

IQA event and workshop cancellations are non-refundable; however, participant substitution is available. Please notify the IQA’s Chief Executive Officer at if participant substitution is required. 

Where circumstances force the IQA to cancel an event or workshop, the liability of the IQA shall be limited to a refund of any fees paid for that particular event or workshop.
