    Psychology of Risk: the presentation will focus on the people side of safety, and more specifically on how people make decisions in the face of uncertainty (the psychology of risk)

9.30am    SESSION 2  - KEYNOTE ADDRESS by Paul Spinks, Paramedic & State Trauma Counsellor – health and well-being of team members, inspiring change and providing a tool kit to act on – to bring about purpose, direction, retention and meaning into the workplace

11.00am    SESSION 3 – Positive Zero Harm, David Smith, Operations Manager, Qld Aggregates, Holcim: David will outline Holcim Aggregates’ two year cultural journey from a reactive safety management approach to a proactive, positively focused safety culture.

11.35am    SESSION 4 – Inspectorate Update – Phil Goode, Chief Inspector of Mines, DNRM

12 noon SESSION 5 – Occupational Hygiene: A Dust Management Case Study, Russel Wilson,  
                General Manager Quarries (Qld), Boral: the presentation will describe the practical 
                steps taken on site to improve the hygiene of employees and contractors by reducing
                exposure to airborne dust at a Brisbane quarry operation.
