The IQA Western Australia Branch invites you to the Business & Networking Breakfast, Building a Better Future for WA. Join experts from the resource sector to discuss our future and what 'the new norm' might mean for our industry moving forward. This event is designed to incorporate the significant learnings the extractive and associated industries can take from successfully operating during the COVID-19 pandemic period and the growth opportunities that lie ahead in as economic recovery strategies are put in place.

About the speakers:

Andrew Chaplyn is the Director of Mines Safety of the Department of the Mines, Industry Regulation, and Safety. Andrew is also the State Mining Engineer appointed to administer the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994.

 Bill Johnston was sworn in as the Mines and Petroleum, Commerce and Industrial Relations, Electoral Affairs, and our State's first Asian Engagement Minister in March 2017. Bill is also the Member for Cannington, having held this position since September 2008.

David Della Bona is the Managing Director of WA Limestone. David also serves as President of CCF WA and has been an active Board Member for over seven years.

This event is a WA IQA Committee initiative, which aims to promote networking among members of the quarrying and associated industries and encourages and creates opportunities for personal and professional development.

Please notify us at admin@quarry.com.au if participant substitution is required for this event. Where circumstances force the IQA to cancel an event or workshop, the liability of the IQA shall be limited to a refund of any fees paid for that particular event or workshop”. 

If you have booked an event as a delegate or a sponsor that is being postponed due to COVID-19, your sponsorship / registration will automatically be transferred to the future event. The IQA will be taking the prescribed steps and following the respective State and Territory guidelines in relation to COVID-19 restrictions, to ensure that the planned event is conducted is an appropriate manner. Attendees will be required to adhere to the COVID-19 practices as recommended by each State and Territory during the IQA event and no attendees should consider participating in an event if they are suffering from any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
