We invite you to attend the IQA Diversity and Inclusion Conference (presented by Women in Quarrying).
Date: Wednesday 27th October 2021
Time: 8.20AM - 4.15PM (followed by a Networking Sundowner until 5.45pm)
Venue: Fraser's Function Centre, 60 Fraser Ave, Kings Park, West Perth
The inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Conference was a huge success which provided a platform for employees within the extractive and associated industries to learn from industry leaders and network with industry colleagues.
This year we will further explore the technical, geological, environmental and human potential of our industry under the conference theme of Drilling Deeper. By exploring these important aspects of our industry the conference aims to contribute to the development of a creative, resilient, inclusive and adaptable workforce. Additionally, the conference will again provide the opportunity for delegates to network, share experiences and learn from experts in their fields.
The conference is in line with the commitment the IQA and WIQ network have in fostering diversity and inclusion within the extractive and associated industries, encouraging younger people to engage and exploring ways to promote the exciting career paths available within the industry.
We look forward to welcoming you to the IQA Diversity and Inclusion Conference (presented by Women in Quarrying) in October 2021.
Featuring Keynote Speaker, The Hon Julie Bishop, Chancellor Australian National University and former Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia, this year's program will Drill Deeper into the important topics of diversity and inclusion.
