Qld Site Tour Bromelton Quarry
Join us for a site tour of the Neilsen Group Bromelton Quarry.  The site tour will be followed by dinner and a debrief / networking session.

The IQA Qld Branch invites you to participate in a site tour of The Neilsen Group's Bromelton Quarry, inclusive of dinner and a debrief / networking session following the tour.

Bromelton Quarry is a 14 year old fixed plant, which includes a manufactured sand plant.  During the tour attendees will view an extraction area, and how Neilsen's have stabilised a Rockwall Failure.



When:  Wednesday 23rd February 2022

Time:   3.00pm (3.30pm onsite - 8pm)

Pickup: Meet @ The Club Beaudesert to board the coach to travel to Neilsen's Bromelton Quarry*

The Club Beaudesert offers complimentary parking.  Additionally, there is free street parking.

  *All attendees must travel by coach to the Site Tour location.


The demand for high quality basalt aggregates and Road Base materials resulted in Neilsens securing a lease to develop a site at Bromelton (Beaudesert). Operations commenced in mid 2008, and enabled Neilsen's to supply high quality concrete aggregates to numerous Projects including the Airport Link and Legacy Way Tunnels, in addition to Road Bases to numerous road construction projects.
