The itinerary will feature a visit to the pit viewing area, allowing participants to observe the quarry. This presents an excellent opportunity to engage with the Holcim Team and our event sponsor ONTRAC Group, where attendees can ask questions.

Holcim – Lynwood Quarry

The Holcim, Lynwood Quarry is one of Australia’s largest quarries supplying high quality concrete aggregates and road base material into the greater Sydney area.

The quarry commenced commercial operation in 2015 and is based on a traditional Load and Haul model. There are two pits on site, Granite (supplying mainstream aggregates and road bases) and the original Ignimbrite area. The fixed plant and sales areas are a 24-hour operation, final products are transported to the market via road direct and rail via Holcim's distribution centre located at Rooty Hill.

Lynwood's current mainline extraction loading tools are a Komatsu PC850SE and a Liebherr 976 excavator. The Liebherr 976 has been fitted with a new hard wearing, large volume XMOR bucket supplied by ONTRAC Group.

The main haul units are Komatsu HD785’s dumping directly into the primary crusher or onto the ROM pad.

Don't miss this unique opportunity - limited spaces available!

Afterwards, the Southern NSW Region Sub-Branch Committee invites members and guests to attend the Astor Hotel Motel, Goulburn for a networking dinner Meeting and further insight to the XMOR bucket and the greater ONTRAC Group product offering.
