Our guest presenter at this event will be Duncan Harris, IQA President and Victorian General Manager - Quarries at Boral Construction Materials.

Duncan has worked in the building materials industry for over 25 years in both the UK and Australia, with roles including Commercial Manager, General Manager, Director and Executive General Manager. His industry expertise ranges from readymix concrete, crushed rock, sand and gravel, to asphalt and concrete products. Since moving to Australia in January 2011, Duncan has worked for both Holcim Australia and Downer, before joining Boral.

Duncan's presentation will cover what he has learnt from the working in the quarrying industry in both Australia and the UK, and will discuss some of the current key challenges for the industry. He will also cover the role that the IQA plays in the quarrying industry.

The event will also include a presentation by Cliff Hutchings from Hitachi Construction Machinery.

Members, non-members, colleagues, partners, and guests are welcome to attend.
